Two Firms. One Mission for Injured Ontarians.
Azimi Law and Naimark Law Firm are two independent Ontario law firms that work side by side to represent people who have been hurt. We pair a boutique, culturally-fluent client experience with seasoned litigation power — including a lawyer who spent two decades defending insurance companies — so that injured Ontarians, including the Persian and Farsi-speaking community, have a team built to fight for them from the first phone call to the courtroom.
One Team, Two Independent Firms
Azimi Law and Naimark Law Firm are two separate, independently regulated Ontario law firms. Each carries its own name, its own founding partner, and its own professional responsibilities under the Law Society of Ontario. What unites them is a shared decision to collaborate on behalf of injured people — to combine the close, personal relationship of a boutique practice with the litigation strength of an established firm so that no client has to choose between the two.
That collaboration was built around a simple observation. Injured people need two things at once: a lawyer who genuinely understands them, listens in their own language, and stays reachable through the hardest months of their lives — and, behind that relationship, a litigation team that knows exactly how the insurance industry evaluates, resists, and ultimately pays a claim. Most firms offer one strength or the other. Together, these two firms offer both.
We are especially focused on serving Ontario's Persian and Farsi-speaking communities, where language, culture, and trust often stand between a worthy claimant and the help they need. At the same time, our doors are open to every injured Ontarian, regardless of background. The combined bench brings decades of experience across personal-injury and insurance litigation to each file we accept.
Working as one team also means a client never falls through the cracks. Intake, communication, investigation, negotiation, and trial preparation are coordinated between the firms so that the right lawyer is handling the right part of your case at the right time — without you having to manage the handoffs yourself.
Independent firms, shared standards. Two distinct Ontario practices, one consistent commitment to the people we represent. You get the attentiveness of a boutique and the depth of an experienced litigation team on the same file.
Azimi Law
Azimi Law was founded by Ben (Bahman) Azimi in 2016 as a boutique, client-first plaintiff personal-injury practice. The firm was built on a straightforward belief: that an injured person deserves a lawyer who treats them as a human being first and a file second. From that starting point, Azimi Law has earned a reputation for an accessible, compassionate, and transparent approach to the work.
Ben Azimi earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Windsor Faculty of Law. He is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Ontario Trial Lawyers Association, and the Canadian Bar Association. He is also a Public Notary and a sworn Solicitor of the Court of Appeal for Ontario. Those credentials sit behind a practice that is, at its heart, about meeting people where they are.
Language and culture are central to how the firm serves its clients. Azimi Law assists clients in both English and Farsi / Persian, removing a barrier that too often leaves newcomers and Persian-speaking Ontarians unsure of their rights or hesitant to come forward. Clients can explain what happened in their own words, ask questions without translation getting in the way, and understand each step of the process as it unfolds.
Accessibility is more than a slogan here. When an injury makes it difficult to come to a law office, the firm comes to the client — travelling to a client's home, hospital bedside, or rehabilitation facility to begin the relationship and gather what is needed. It is a practical reflection of a boutique model designed around the client rather than the convenience of the firm.
Boutique by design. A smaller, client-first practice means direct access, plain-language guidance, and a relationship that lasts the length of your case — in English or in Farsi.
Naimark Law Firm
Naimark Law Firm was founded by Ryan M. Naimark, an established litigator who brands the practice as "The Personal Injury Professionals — We Know How Insurance Companies Think." That tagline is not marketing shorthand. It describes exactly what the firm brings to an injured client's case: an insider's understanding of how the other side operates.
Ryan Naimark studied law at Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the Ontario Bar in 1998, giving him roughly twenty-eight years of experience. For about two decades of that career he worked as insurance-defence counsel — the lawyer defending insurance companies against the very claims he now advances. He became a partner on the defence side in 2004 before deciding to cross over and represent injured people instead.
That history is the firm's distinguishing strength. Having spent years inside the defence world, the firm's lawyers know how insurers value a file, where they look to discount or deny, what evidence moves an adjuster, and when a case must be pushed toward trial to be taken seriously. For a claimant, that is knowledge that simply cannot be acquired from the plaintiff's side alone.
As an established litigation firm, Naimark Law Firm handles a broad range of personal-injury and insurance matters: motor-vehicle accidents, slip and falls, medical malpractice, short- and long-term disability, life-insurance denials, wrongful death, product liability, occupiers' liability, and employment and wrongful-dismissal claims. The common thread is litigation readiness — building each case so that it can withstand, and if necessary defeat, the strategies the firm once used on the other side.
We know how insurance companies think. Decades on the defence side mean the insurer's playbook is now working for you — in how your claim is valued, built, and pressed toward a fair result.
Why We Joined Forces
Two firms are stronger together than either is alone. Their strengths are complementary rather than overlapping, and that is exactly the point — each fills a gap the other might otherwise leave open in a serious injury case.
Azimi Law brings both a trusted client relationship and real litigation firepower. Ben Azimi and his team handle intake, keep clients informed, and make sure the human side of the case is never lost — while also carrying out substantial trial, negotiation, and advocacy work in their own right. As a multilingual firm serving clients in English, Farsi, and Spanish, Azimi Law removes the language and cultural barriers that keep many injured Ontarians from pursuing a claim they are fully entitled to bring.
Naimark Law Firm adds even deeper litigation muscle: extensive courtroom and trial experience, an established personal-injury practice, and the former-insurance-defence playbook that lets the team anticipate the other side's moves before they happen. When an insurer resists, that is the experience that pushes a file forward instead of letting it stall.
Put together, the two firms deliver full coverage from the first call to the courtroom. The client gets a lawyer who understands them and a litigation team that knows how to win the fight — without having to give up one to get the other. That is the entire reason the collaboration exists.
What We Stand For
Two independent firms, one shared set of standards. These are the principles that guide how we take on, build, and fight every case we accept.
Trial-Ready Advocacy
We prepare every file as if it is headed for the courtroom, not just the negotiating table. That readiness is often what moves an insurer off a low offer and toward a result that reflects what an injury is actually worth.
No Win, No Fee
We work on a contingency basis. Our legal fee is a percentage of what we recover for you, and the firm funds the disbursements needed to advance your case. If there is no recovery, you owe no legal fees.
Insider Knowledge of Insurers
Years spent on the insurance-defence side mean we know how claims are valued, where they are resisted, and what it takes to get them paid. That experience now works entirely on the injured client's behalf.
Client-First & Accessible
We stay reachable around the clock, every day of the year, and we serve clients in English and Farsi / Persian. When an injury makes it hard to reach us, we come to you — at home, in hospital, or in rehab.
Independent Firms, Shared Standards
Two separate, independently regulated Ontario practices choosing to hold themselves to the same standard of care. You get boutique attention and established litigation depth on the same case.
Plain-Language Honesty
We explain your options, your fee agreement, and the realistic path of your case in language you can understand — without jargon, pressure, or promises no lawyer can responsibly make.
Frequently Asked Questions
Are Azimi Law and Naimark Law Firm the same firm?+
No. They are two separate, independently regulated Ontario law firms, each with its own name and founding partner. They collaborate to represent injured people, combining a boutique, client-first relationship with established litigation experience. You benefit from both firms working together as one team on your case.
Which firm will handle my case?+
Both firms coordinate on the work, and the right lawyer is matched to the right part of your case. In practice, that often means Azimi Law leads the client relationship and intake — particularly for Farsi-speaking clients — while Naimark Law Firm drives the litigation strategy. We handle the coordination so you do not have to manage it yourself.
Do you speak Farsi / Persian?+
Yes. Azimi Law serves clients in both English and Farsi / Persian, so you can explain what happened in your own words, ask questions without a language barrier, and understand each step of your case clearly. We are especially focused on serving Ontario's Persian-speaking community, alongside all injured Ontarians.
What does it cost to hire you?+
Nothing up front. We work on a contingency fee basis, which means our legal fee is a percentage of what we recover for you, and the firm funds the disbursements needed to build your case. If there is no recovery, you owe no legal fees. We explain the agreement in plain language before you sign anything.
Do you go to trial?+
Yes. We are trial lawyers and prepare every file as if it is going to court. Most cases resolve through negotiation, but insurers tend to make fair offers only when they know we are genuinely ready to litigate. Our former insurance-defence experience helps us judge when a case must be pushed toward trial to achieve a fair result.
What areas of Ontario do you serve?+
We represent injured people across Ontario. Distance is rarely a barrier — we communicate by phone, email, and video, and when an injury makes travel difficult, we can come to your home, hospital, or rehabilitation facility to meet with you and begin your case.
